How time flies!

Recital is just around the corner.

First, this Saturday, November 4th from 11:00 -11:30am, there will be a special performance for all our soloists and duets at the Miami Catholic Church.

Company dancers have some upcoming community performances. The San Carlos Veteran’s Day Parade is on Saturday, November 11th. The Light Parade is Saturday, December 9th.

Company members costume balances are due this month. Please make payments promptly.

December tuition is due on or before 12/1. If accounts are not paid in full by this date, your student will not be able to participate in the recital. Please note, dance is year round and if a student drops out for any amount of time, he/she will incur a re-registration fee of $25 upon returning. We will not hold classes the week of Thanksgiving. Last day of dance classes is Friday, December 15th.

“Christmas in New York” Recital Information

STAGE MOM

Stage Mom sign-ups are at the front desk. Stage Moms will receive ONE FREE TICKET and must attend dress rehearsal, so they will know what side of the stage the dancers enter and exit, the order of the class line up as well as what the costume changes will be.

TICKETS

Company Show tickets go on sale Tuesday, November 14th at 5:00pm. Recreation Show tickets go on sale Thursday, November 16th at 5:00pm. All balances must be paid in order to purchase recital tickets. Tickets are $10 per seat. This year we will also be accepting cash, check and credit cards at the door the day of the recital for tickets!

REHEARSAL

Recreational Dress Rehearsal will be Thursday, November 30th from 4:30-6:30pm at High Desert Auditorium. Company will have dress rehearsal both Wednesday, November 29th 4:30-6:30pm and Friday, December 1st 8:00am-12:00pm at High Desert Auditorium — come early to warm up.

RECITAL

Both recitals will be held at High Desert Auditorium Friday, December 1st — Recreational Show starting at 5:30pm and Company Show at 7:00pm. We will be selling flowers for $5 before and after the recital. Also, you can order a DVD of the recital. Remember, dancers with balances will not be able to participate in our recital, so take care of those soon.

DANCER DROP OFF & PICK UP FOR RECITAL

Recreational dancers need to check-in at the auditorium between 4:45pm and 5:00pm for recital, dressed in their first costume. Company show dancers need to check-in at the auditorium by 6:15pm, dressed in their first costume. Dancers need to arrive at High Desert during check-in time, dressed in their first costume entering through the choir room doors and MUST stay the entire length of the show. There will be signs up outside the auditorium showing where to drop off your dancer. All dancers will come onto the stage to bow for the finale. In the past, when parents pick up their kids early, it upsets the other kids. They get scared, thinking their parents forgot them, so we will not open the door for pick up until the entire show is over. Please send only one person to pick up your dancer.

RECITAL ETIQUETTE

Please be courteous to other families and their dancers! Limit getting up and down out of your seat. Only get out of your seat in between dance numbers, and please remove crying children from the building during the performance.

December Tumble Classes

All tumble classes have the opportunity to take classes on both Tuesdays and Thursdays for the month of December for additional classes. See the schedule below.

1. Tuesday 4:00p can come on Thursday 4:00p.

2. Tuesday 5:00p can come on Thursday 7:00p.

3. Tuesday 6:00p can come on Thursday at 4:00p or Friday 11:00a

4. Tuesday 7:00p can come on Friday at 8:00p

5. Thursday 4:00p can come on Tuesday 4:00p

6. Thursday 7:00p can come on Friday 10:00a

7. Friday 8:00a can come on Tuesday 7:00p

8. Friday 10:00a can come on Thursday 7:00p

9. Friday 11:00a can come on Tuesday at 6:00p or Thursday 4:00p
